Thursday, June 9 - EPA public meeting and hearing

The EPA will hold a public meeting on the proposed draft permit for Exeter’s wastewater treatment plant. This permit is designed to improve water quality in the Squamscott River and Great Bay Estuary by establishing protective limits for nitrogen discharges. EPA officials will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the permit. The public will then have the opportunity to deliver oral and written comments.
